This website is owned and operated by Paper County. These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") establish the contractual relationship under which you may use our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
These GTC are agreed upon by Paper County ("The Seller") and any person or entity making a purchase through the website www.papercounty.co ("The Purchaser").
To use our website or receive our services, the Purchaser must be at least 18 years old, or of the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. The Purchaser is not allowed to use this website or receive services if doing so is prohibited in their country or under any applicable law or regulation.
All purchase orders presume perfect knowledge and acceptance of these GTC, and the waiver of any other conditions of purchase.
The Seller reserves the right to amend or change these GTC at any time. The applicable GTC are those in effect on the date of the purchase order.
1. Products and Services
Products and services offered on the website www.papercounty.co include unique stationery items, lifestyle products such as glassware and tote bags, and customization services. All products are subject to availability. The Seller reserves the right to change the assortment of products due to supply constraints. If an item is unavailable but still appears as available on the website, the Purchaser will be contacted by email and may choose to either cancel or exchange the item.
2. Price
All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes. Shipping costs are not included in the listed price and are charged separately.
The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time. Prices listed on the website are valid at the moment of purchase.
3. Purchase Orders
The purchase process begins when the Purchaser places an order via the form provided on the website. The order must include all required information to be considered complete and accurate, including the Purchaser's acceptance of the GTC, validation of the order, and payment. Once the Purchaser receives a confirmation email, the order is confirmed.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse orders that are (i) incomplete, (ii) deemed questionable or fraudulent, or (iii) involve default. Orders may also be refused if the bank or payment intermediary (such as PayPal or Twint) declines to honor the transaction. Any payment opposition or cancellation by the Purchaser will result in the prompt refusal of the order. Refused orders include cancellation without notice or delay and the return of delivered products at the Purchaser's expense.
Modifications to a validated order are not possible. If necessary, the Purchaser may cancel the order and receive a refund, provided the goods have not been shipped or the services have not been provided. Please note a 7 CHF cancellation fee will apply.
4. Terms of Payment
The order price is payable in Swiss Francs. Accepted payment methods are currently limited to credit cards and PayPal. Payments are processed through a secure system, ensuring that transmitted information is encrypted and protected from third-party access.
5. Shipping
We currently ship to Switzerland, the EU, and the UK. All orders are processed within 2-4 working days. Domestic parcels typically arrive within 2-3 days after dispatch, while international delivery times vary depending on the destination. Shipping days are generally every Wednesday and Friday.
Once dispatched, delivery times may vary, and any delays caused by the postal service are not the responsibility of the Seller.
Shipping costs depend on the region and selected shipping method (such as express). For Purchasers in Switzerland, shipping is free on orders over 150 CHF. For Purchasers in the European Union, shipping is free on orders over 200 EUR. Free shipping includes fragile insurance for domestic orders and Track & Trace for European orders.
If the Purchaser does not receive a confirmation email after payment, they must contact the Seller promptly at info@papercounty.co.
6. Upon Receipt of the Package
The Purchaser must inspect the package and its contents upon receipt. Once the package is delivered by the courier, the Seller's responsibility ends. In the event of a loss, please contact us via email. If the shipment is damaged, a claim must be filed with the post office, and the parcel should not be accepted.
All products are inspected before shipment to ensure they leave our facility in perfect condition.
7. Incorrect Address
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or any other reason, the Purchaser will be refunded in the form of a voucher, minus the delivery cost. If the Purchaser wishes to have the order resent, they will bear the cost of reshipping.
8. Missing Items
If an item is missing from an order, the Purchaser must inspect the shipment upon receipt and notify the Seller within three days via email with the receipt. After verification, the Seller will either issue a gift voucher for the missing item or resend it at their cost if it is in stock. Claims made after three days will not be considered.
9. Transfer of Ownership - Transfer of Risks
Ownership and risk transfer to the Purchaser when the Seller accepts the order, regardless of the payment date or delivery time. Products travel at the Purchaser's risk, and any claims must be filed with the carrier within three days of delivery.
10. Returning Merchandise
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 7 days from receipt to notify us via email at info@papercounty.co.
1. Once the Seller agrees to the return, you must send the product back within three days.
2. The product must be in its original packaging and condition, unused, and undamaged.

4. Include your name, order number, and reason for return.
5. Return shipping costs are the Purchaser's responsibility.
6. Upon receiving the product, we will verify its condition.
7. If everything is in order, we will issue a Voucher Code by email as a refund.
Disclaimer: Cups, coasters, and tote bags are made to order. Once an order containing these items is placed, it cannot be canceled unless we receive an email within 24 hours of the order.
11. Warranty
The Seller selects products based on quality, design, and durability; however, no items sold on www.papercounty.co are covered by a warranty.
12. Gifts
Items received as gifts may be exchanged or returned for in-store credit if they are new, unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
13. Images and Text
Images and text on the website are for informational purposes only and may differ from the delivered items, particularly regarding color. These differences do not impose any liability on the Seller.
14. Data Protection
By making a purchase or subscribing to our newsletter, the Purchaser consents to the collection, storage, and use of their personal data by the Seller for the purposes outlined below:
- Processing and validating purchase orders
- Managing the Purchaser’s account
- Sending commercial correspondence (if opted in)
The Purchaser may choose to have their personal data stored for future orders and personalized offers. They may also request the deletion of their account, with only transaction-related data retained as required by Swiss law.

The Seller treats all data confidentially and will not disclose, transfer, or sell customer data to third parties. The website is protected by a security certificate (https), and all sensitive information is encrypted.
15. Intellectual Property
All elements of the website www.papercounty.co are the sole intellectual property of the Seller. No part of the site may be reproduced, redistributed, or used without formal consent from the Seller.
All images and texts, including those provided by suppliers, are protected by copyright. Unauthorized reproduction may lead to prosecution.
16. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law, and any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the Courts of the Canton of Valais.
